Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is an ordination degree required by the mainline and some independent churches. It is designed to equip students for church leadership as pastors and ministers. It is a pre-requisite degree for postgraduates studies.
The Master of Divinity is a three-year, full-time programme that covers the same coursework as the Master of Christian Studies in the first two years. In the third year of the M. Div, students will do 30 credits more of coursework as follows:
- Biblical Studies – 6 credits
- Theology, Church History and Society – 6 credits
- Applied Theology – 12 credits
- Electives – 3 credits
- Internship – 3 credits
