The Graduate Diploma in Ministry (Grad. Dip. Min.) is a one-year, full-time programme comprising 30 credit hours. Students may opt to complete the programme on a part-time, modular basis, taking three or four modules per year.
The Grad. Dip. Min. offers a foundational graduate-level study that equips students for practical ministry and deeper Christian growth, covering key areas including:
- Old Testament Introduction 1 or 2
- New Testament Introduction 1 or 2
- Theology 1
- Church History 1 or 2
- Hermeneutics
- Spiritual Formation
- 4 Electives
Students who have demonstrated competence in academic writing in the Turabian / Chicago style format can request a waiver of Research & Writing Course but it must be replaced with another course or elective.
As part of the programme, students must complete an internship that includes weekend ministry at an assigned church throughout the duration of their studies.
A minimum GPA of 2.7 or B- is required for graduation
A minimum GPA score of 3 or B is required for students who intend to proceed to M. Div. programme.
