Graduate programmes at MBS are designed to equip current and future pastors, as well as full-time ministry workers, with the knowledge and skills needed for effective service. These programmes are intended for students who hold a first degree or an equivalent qualification from other colleges, seminaries, or universities.
MBS allows for the transfer of academic credits (or units) from other institutions, subject to review on a case-by-case basis. However, the total credits transferred may not exceed 50% of the required credits for the programmes applied.
Master of Divinity (30 units, 90 credits)
The Master of Divinity (M. Div.) is a three-year, full-time ordination degree that prepares students for leadership roles in the church. It enables students to deepen their theological understanding, develop pastoral skills, and engage in practical ministry through coursework and internship experiences.
Master of Christian Studies (20 units, 60 credits)
The Master of Christian Studies (M. C.S.) is a two-year, full-time programme that builds on the Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies. It enables students to deepen their theological knowledge, enhance their ministry skills, and engage in advanced study through electives.
Master of Ministry (20 units, 60 credits)
The Master of Ministry (M. Min.) is a programme designed for lay leaders and church workers seeking to deepen their ministry skills. It enables students to strengthen their theological foundation while developing practical competencies in leadership, preaching, pastoral care, and counseling.
Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (10 units, 30 credits)
The Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (Grad. Dip. C.S.) is a one-year, full-time programme that provides a foundational understanding of the Christian faith. It enables students to engage with core theological concepts and prepares them for further academic study, including the Master of Christian Studies (M. C.S.).
Graduate Diploma in Ministry (10 units, 30 credits)
The Graduate Diploma in Ministry (Grad. Dip. Min.) is a one-year, full-time programme that provides foundational training in biblical, theological, and practical ministry subjects. It enables students to grow in spiritual maturity, develop ministry skills, and engage thoughtfully with Scripture and church tradition.
