Undergraduate programmes > Certificate in Theology
The Certificate in Theology (Cert. Th.) consists of 57 credits of which three units are a Practicum while the rest involve academic work based on the following components:
- Biblical Studies (Old and New Testaments) – 12 credits
- Theology, Church History and Christian Education -12 credits
- Hermeneutics, Spiritual Formation, Resear&Writing – 9 credits
- Hebrew I&II/Greek I&II – 6 credits
- Pentateuch/Historical books, Gospel Book Study – 6 credits
- Marriage & Family, Pastoral Counseling – 6 credits
- Pauline Epistles, Homiletics – 6 credits
The Cert. Th. is to be completed in two years of full-time study. Part-time students may take up to three years. The Practicum or Mission trip requires students to be assigned either to a church for weekend ministry for the duration of the programme, or to one mission trip each year.
