The academic year at MBS begins in January. One academic year at MBS consists of two semesters, the first semester lasting five months and the second for six months.
Applications by Malaysian students must be summited by November 15. Malaysian students can be accepted during the second semester, which begins in mid-June.
Overseas applications by international students must be submitted by August 31 for the January intake. MBS does not accept international students during the second semester.
How to apply:
- Download the application forms.
** Note that in the section on ‘References’, do not list any family member nor student or lecturer attached to MBS. - Ensure you submit the relevant supporting documents with your application form.
These documents include:
a) Photocopies of transcripts of all relevant qualifications.
b) A photocopy of your identification card – OR photocopy of passport for foreign students.
c) A photocopy of a recent medical report – applicable for all residential students, both Malaysian and international
d) A written testimony of your conversion to the Christian faith which includes your call to Christian ministry and your purpose of study at MBS. Type or write this testimony clearly.
e) Ordination certificate (if ordained). - Submit your form and supporting documents with a non-refundable application fee of RM100 (US$35) for Graduate programs and RM50 (US$20) for Undergraduate programs.
This fee is payable by cheque or bank draft.

MBS will confirm once your application is received via email.
Malaysian students will be informed of their acceptance after one month, while international applications will be processed within three months.
An interview and entrance test may be deemed necessary in some cases.
Due notification will be given and arrangements for applicants living abroad or a distance from the MBS campus can then be made.
